It’s news upon news at the moment in The Sims 4 as the series’ 25th anniversary celebrations rumble on. Today, we have a tease of a trailer to discuss, suggesting something relating to tattoos is coming to The Sims 4. What exactly? For now, we can only speculate. The full trailer will arrive tomorrow, February 6th, at 8 am PT.
The upcoming trailer is called Ouch! and a nine-second teaser was posted across social media. It shows a chap with his face on a headrest trying to endure the pain of whatever is going on off-screen. A slight buzz suggests the use of a tattoo needle, given that our hero has one on his nape and arm. Of course – as always with The Sims – it’s also deliberately aiming for a bit of blue humour. You could understandably mistake what’s going on for a certain type of massage. Ooh, Matron!
The Sims 4 to give tattoos some love
All we know for certain is that whatever is coming is tattoo-related, but various comments under the teaser trailer suggest a few possibilities. Tattoos are obviously not a new thing in The Sims 4. So, this could be for a new pack that introduces several different designs. However, that seems a little boring considering we’re in the midst of celebrating The Sims’ 25th anniversary. So, I think it might be a new profession or, at the very least, the option to visit a tattoo parlour, allowing our Sims to mix up their ink.
We’ll find out for sure on February 6th. Be sure to check back here for all the details or stay tuned to YouTube for when it premiers. If you’re too impatient and need something to occupy your mind, the 25-hour stream is well underway at the time of writing, so check in on that if you’re hungry for more Sims goodness.
