If you’re on this site, you probably already know that The Sims turns 25 soon, and what better way to celebrate than to bring back not only the one that started it all but The Sims 2 as well? Yes, that’s right! After much speculation, leaks, and rumours, The Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Editions are now available for PC. So whether you want to play them properly or merely recreate the joy of putting your Sim in a swimming pool and removing the ladder, now you can.
They can be purchased separately for $19.99 and $29.99, respectively. However, if you’re looking to fully indulge in nostalgia, the The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle includes both games for $39.99. Alternatively, if you’re a member of EA Play Pro – or thinking about signing up – these two classics are available as part of that subscription service.
The Sims 1 and 2 Legacy Editions include everything you could hope for
I’m sure one question you might be asking is, “What’s in the box?” Or, “What’s included?” if we’re avoiding the route of needless meme quoting. But I bet you heard it in your head, didn’t you? Anyway, The Sims Legacy Edition includes the following:
- Livin’ Large
- House Party
- Hot Date
- Vacation
- Unleashed
- Superstar
- Makin’ Magic
- The Sims 4: Throwback Fit Kit
Meanwhile, The Sims 2 Legacy Edition brings:
